So, the old step was hauled away.
The Bobcat was employed, much to the girls delight and entertainment.
And a sidewalk was installed. Along with new steps, a railing, and some more sod.
One afternoon, I was missing Alfy's. Last summer, I brought home a menu.
Here is my "pirated" version of Alfy's Chicken Alfredo pizza.
A friend of mine from high school was visiting, and was even kind enough to call!
We spent the evening with her family.
The kids had a great time playing together.
She has twin girls and a little boy.

Melania will never turn down an opportunity to snuggle!
However, here he is. Just as long-suffering as ever!
My birthday was a couple of days earlier, and Carmen graciously saved me some pumpkin cheesecake.
The "birthday girl"!
Kaitlyn has been coming over to play periodically.
I was not home for this game, which seems to involve a swimming pool in the living room.

THANK YOU SO MUCH for stopping by with a comment. I found your blog a year ago by blog hopping, but then lost track.
I am so thankful too for other adoptive moms that understand really where I am coming from. You truly have two beautiful little girls Wanda, and I am so certain that their moms are thankful for the gift you are giving them too.
So fun to see this post and all the familiar faces from home. I know you must just love living close to family now, and so special from your girls as well.
Yeah!! Updates on my MT friends! :) Looks like you're having an awesome time & the girls are just way tooo cute. I think they need a trip to the beach, that would be the TX beach, not CA. Glad to see you're all doing great.
